Approximately 2 crores population of India are suffering from serious mental health problems.
Most of them and their families are living in extreme poverty.
They have no access to mental health services of National health infrastructure.
The person afflicted with mental health problems are heavily stigmatized in our society.
There are heavy superstitions and backwardness among people regarding mental health problems.
Poor people and females are heavily neglected in mental health problems.
Mental health service infrastructure are negligible throughout the country mostly in rural areas.
National mental health budget is so poor that our people are destined to suffer in any mental health problems in coming decades.
Mental health problems are intimately related to physical health but often neglected.
Families of mental health patients are worst sufferer in our society.
