Course particulars:
1. Name of the course: Advanced Course of Internship Training on Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry
2. Duration of the course: 4 months (160 hours)
3. Weekly online class and monthly nine offline and practical classes including patient examination, history taking in a format
4. One final examination with 50 marks on Viva and 50 marks on the presentation of Case History with a minimum 2-3 follow ups
5. A certificate would be given after successful completion of the course
6. Study materials would be provided
7. Course fee: Rs.15000/- to be given in advance

1. Revision of basic courses
2. MSE covering case history
3. Details of case history taking related to therapy
4. Concept of integrated therapy-Pharmacotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counseling and guidance
5. Structure and function of brain with advanced Neurophysiology- Ontogeny and Phylogeny
6. Availability and application of CBT, DBT, IPT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Therapy, Couple Therapy, Hypnotic Suggestions Therapy, Humanistic Therapy
7. Progress towards a complete counseling session
8. Problems of patient- compliance, in perspective of socio-economic conditions
9. Social psychology, family integration, community mental health
10. Writing a therapeutic recommendation (prescription)
